The apartment in Hodonín was created by combining two smaller apartments even before the construction of the apartment building, so we had the opportunity to modify the layout in the design so that it met the client's requirements. The interior is designed for a young, growing family. We reworked the original layout and basically opened it up, we defined the space of the kitchen, which flows smoothly into the living room. It is separated from the bedroom tract by an inset wall with walnut veneer, which hides storage and service areas - a toilet and a wardrobe. Travertine tiles are used throughout the apartment, except for the bedrooms, formatted exactly according to the dimensions of the individual rooms. Travertine is also used in the master bathroom, where it forms the wall covering. The color of the apartment is based on the honest materiality of the basic elements – white paint, walnut veneer and travertine.
